Planned first, then built

The inside was laid out in the IKEA PAX planner: 199.8 cm wide, 201.2 cm high and 58 cm deep. The finished wardrobe matches it, drawers and all.

How it went together

  1. White PAX frames with wire drawers, tools on the floor

    The second run goes in on the other side of the room.

  3. PAX frames along both walls with the window in the middle

    Frames in on both sides, with the window between them.

  4. Finished MDF wardrobe with three doors and knobs

    Boxed in and doors on

    MDF panels close the gaps to the ceiling and walls, then full-height MDF doors go on.
