Wardrobes built around a chimney breast
A full wall of storage that keeps the old fireplace on show. IKEA PAX frames sit either side of the chimney breast, an MDF bridge with overhead cupboards joins them across the top, and flat MDF doors face the lot, so it reads as one piece of furniture.

The overhead boxes glued and clamped on the bench, right there in the room.

IKEA PAX frames set in place, with an MDF box on top to take them up to the ceiling.

An MDF frame spans the chimney breast and ties both sides together.
