Window seats and benches, with storage underneath.

A seat in a bay or under a window, a corner bench in a kitchen or a porch bench for shoes. Most of them hide storage under a lift-up lid or behind doors.

Storage underneath
Lift-up lids or cupboard doors below the seat.
Curved if you need it
The Kennington seat follows the curve of a round table.
Rebuilds too
An old window seat can be rebuilt and insulated, like the Bounds Green job.
Drawn first
Each seat is drawn in 3D, so the height and depth are right before anything is cut.

  • “Raf has created bespoke cabinetry and panelling for us in our kitchen, living room and bedroom as well as some additional smaller pieces. Everything has been done to a very high standard and we couldn't recommend him more highly!”
    Yasmin
  • “We were really impressed by the quality of the work Raf did. Also with his punctuality. He designed and installed our fitted wardrobes to a quality that he would have done in his own house I think. Really cared about the outcome. We feel so lucky to have found a carpenter like him in London.”
    Marjan
  • “Raf helped us with a bespoke floor to ceiling bookshelf for our first floor landing. He gave us his time to discuss how it would be built and more importantly how he would get it into our house and up to the first floor. He built the bookcase exactly to our specification and design. … The result is a bookcase that fits the space perfectly. We are very pleased with the quality and workmanship of Raf's work.”

Questions people ask

How much does a window seat cost?

Every job is quoted on its own after a free visit, because the size, the storage and the material all change the price.

Can you fit a seat in a bay?

Yes. Bays are rarely square, so the seat is measured on site and scribed to the walls. The curved seat below sits in a kitchen bay.

What do you need from me for a quote?

Photos of the window or the corner, rough sizes and what you want to store. Plan your project lists it all, and the brief there puts it into one message.
